Palimpsest Flesh comprises two books of poetry.
Book One, “The Fourth Hour of Midnight”, was written in the two years immediately before the author experienced a major heart attack and was dead for two minutes.
Book Two, “Unscathed But Not Untouched”, was written in the two years immediately following his revival.
