A grave darkness descends upon the world again, casting humanity into the insatiable maw of corrupted souls and the self-destruction they sow in the heart of civilization. We are long past a time of trying to understand their wounds or extending compassion for their self-hatred; we actively resist wherever possible the political conquest thrust upon us by authoritarian regimes and, even more imperatively, forcefully defeat spiritual conquest at every turn.
This means keeping the Perennial Truth of the wisdom teachings alive in the hearts and minds of loving and courageous people everywhere, so that the Light of the Beauty, Harmony and Symmetry of Nature—and Original Human Nature—might shine forth in that inevitable dawn rising to burn off the last vestige of the nightmare mist obscuring our vision of the perfection of all things. If the Golden Age is to return it will be because we took to heart the ancient mandate: To dare, to know, to will, to be silent. The Great Work survives underground in order to emerge newborn in the time of our grandchildren’s children.
The present work aims to preserve that fraction of the Perennial Truth embodied in the esoteric symbology of the living essence of numbers. What we seek is not a rote regurgitation of any one culture’s view of number; regardless of depth of meaning, the soul of numbers cannot be confined to the accrued dogma of any one people’s experience. What we seek instead is a global perspective that incorporates the most sublime truths of the myriad cultures that have existed throughout time in this miraculous world—sublime truths that themselves have been preserved down to the present time.
As a f framework, we use the 64 hexagrams of the I Ching and its Taoist worldview, within which we incorporate relevant aspects of Pythagorean and Platonic thought, Aeonology of the Gnostics, the Tonalpoalli of Mesoamerica, Chan, Sufism, Hermetics and Alchemy. From this it ought be evident that we seek a hermeneutics not just of of the soul of numbers, but thereby a hermeneutics of the soul of human nature itself.
As always, we proceed fully aware that knowledge is not enough in itself to preserve the coming generations—yet, without knowledge of the practice making up the Great Work, the continuity of our ancestors’ dreams will be severely disrupted. We set forth these principles therefore in full faith that they shall fall into the hands of sincere practitioners who, inspired by the Universal Civilizing Spirit, bring to fruition the Great Work of Human Transmutation.
